As this p.r. battle over the UC admissions eligibility policy continues, the more I realize why the some of the most brilliant Asian American progressive voices on the matter have chosen to stay silent. There are some WACKOS in our AAPI higher ed community. I was taught to respect elders and all, so I will ask for feedback. When I get destructive feedback, I really feel disappointed in the elders. Give me constructive stuff with examples. Don't call my academic integrity and ethics and skills of critique into question.
